Our Halloween Party was such a hit that our daughters requested a Christmas Party as well! We opted to host a Coco and Cookies Party. We invited all our friends to come in their pajamas and bring their favorite plush toy. To simplify things, we also asked them to bring a snack to share, while we would supply all the cocoa, cookies, and decorating materials.

I started out with a simple Hot Coco bar.

A hot coco station set up on top of a black tablecloth. Gingerbread shaped napkins, snowflake shaped marshmallows, red paper cups with brown sleves, and small ginger bread house shaped stickers with decoration sticker sheets laying next to them.

Target offered the most charming snowflake-shaped marshmallows, as well as napkins shaped like gingerbread cookies. I also discovered these cute disposable cups that came with mini gingerbread house stickers for each child to personalize, making it both a craft and a drink!

Following that was our Gingerbread House decorating station. I bought a pre-assembled gingerbread house because I've realized that at 3 and 5 years old, my daughters lack the patience for the seams to dry; they just want to decorate... and who can blame them? That's where all the fun lies!

This year, their gingerbread house appears much more refined than in previous years. It's an indication that they're maturing, and I'm uncertain if my heart is prepared for it.

Next, we enjoyed snacks! Our friends provided some delightful treats for everyone. We had a stunning holiday charcuterie board featuring tasty items from Trader Joe's. There were also delicious fruit platters from Walmart and some incredible homemade and homegrown goodies.

Finally, Christmas COOKIES :) We chose Pillsbury rolled Sugar Cookie dough and utilized our holiday cookie cutters to shape them into different Christmas designs.

I bought icing pens and sprinkles from Target, and the pens were the star of the show! They were simple to use, had vibrant colors, and tasted fantastic!

BONUS: The kids needed a short break from icing and sprinkles, so they took over our family room and had fun with the gymnastics bar, trampoline, and peanuts ball while watching Christmas movies. It was an ideal way to expend some energy and burn off some of that sugar.

How do you like to celebrate with your children's friends? I'm sure I'll need fresh ideas for next year. ;)
